Just can't wait to get on the road again...
Tomorrow morning we're outta here and on our way south. It sure has been a short summer. Last Friday brought us some bad news though. Our winter workamper position down in Ocala, FL fell through. They called us to let us know that they plan on rebuilding part of the campground and will not be needing us. Oh well! That means we can do other things this fall and winter. The first leg of our journey will take us down to the Bear's Den Resort in Grove, OK where we'll spend up to a couple of weeks. Our route will take us through Madison, WI and Debuque, IA with a stopover at the Iowa I80 Truck Stop in Davenport, IA. This is the largest truck stop in the world! Our next stopover will be at the Wildwood Lot Owners Association in Steedman, MO. We're not a lot owner there but they do allow Coast to Coast Resort members access to it for $8 a night. From there we'll travel through Missouri's capital city of Jefferson City and past Lake Of The Ozarks, Springfield and Joplin, MO stopping at the Bear's Den in Grove, OK. From there we'll regroup and plan our next leg of our journey.
Going places that we've never been...
Seeing things that we'll probability never see again...
Gee I'll be glad to be back on the road again.

We are Kenny and Ginny. We call Northeast Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula home during the summer months. Together, we enjoy recreational boating on the Oconto River and the Bay of Green Bay and camping in the cooler northern states. When the boating season is over, we become snowbirds and head south for the winter with our luxury DRV Moble Suites 5th-wheel trailer that we call Château de Sallé.
I bought the Château de Sallé in July 2018 with my late wife Nancy after our Monaco Windsor motorhome, OWFISH, was totaled in an accident.
