We are Kenny and Ginny. We call Northeast Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula home during the summer months. Together, we enjoy recreational boating on the Oconto River and the Bay of Green Bay and camping in the cooler northern states. When the boating season is over, we become snowbirds and head south for the winter with our luxury DRV Moble Suites 5th-wheel trailer that we call Château de Sallé.
I bought the Château de Sallé in July 2018 with my late wife Nancy after our Monaco Windsor motorhome, OWFISH, was totaled in an accident.

Lake Arthur, LA
Well we left Galveston around 8:30 this morning heading to Louisiana. We took the ferry across to avoid the Houston traffic. We have stopped for 3 nights at the Mermentau River RV Park & Marina in Lake Arthur, LA. Their mailing address is Gueydan, LA but they're closer to the small town of Lake Arthur. It hasn't changed much since the last time I was here some 4 years ago in April 2011.
One thing has changed though, Verizon put up a tower and we have internet
access here now. It's a weak signal so but it works most of the time. We have a spot
right on the river with a covered deck over the water. We came in just as a
rain storm hit the area. We'll hold us here until Thursday the 19th when we have reservations to get into Betty's RV Park in Abbeville. Mermentau River RV Park & Marina is on a fresh water river and lake with access to the Intracoastal Waterway and
the Gulf of Mexico. I looked at this place once with the idea of it being the home for Shangri-La Cruises.
